Karen, is an absolute gem, supportive, informative, and down-to-earth. Her class on entering print competitions provides valuable insight into what makes an award winning image. Karen had dozens of sample images which she critiqued with a balance of kindness and constructive criticism. She created a welcoming environment to ask questions. The course content covers everything from selecting the right competitions for your work, to preparing files for submission. The class was full of practical tips and actionable advice for photographers of all experience levels for refining submissions as well as strategies for standing out from the crowd. Karen's class expertly covers editing techniques, color harmony and presentation essentials. Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned photographer, this class provided something for everyone. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in showcasing their work and getting involved in photography competitions.
