If you can do and in person class with Karen, I highly recommend it. She really presented in such a way I was able to absorb a lot of information. She even made layers less intimidating. Elegant, warm personable, patient, engaging, fun, and I dare to say grandiose.

Embarking on the journey of learning digital painting for my client images was daunting. With numerous methods available, I was uncertain where to begin, until fate intervened one evening. A captivating image of Karen McCall's exquisite Peacock, painted in Photoshop, halted my scroll through my newsfeed. Intrigued, I delved into her program, finding it tailored perfectly for someone like me—a beginner with a modicum of knowledge. Enrolling in Karen's Zoom class was a decision I'll never regret. The depth of learning packed into those sessions was astonishing. I diligently took notes, which continue to serve as my guide even now. Since then, I've eagerly participated in several of her classes, each time acquiring fresh insights and techniques. Starting on the path towards achieving our goals requires a leap of faith. For me, that leap was into Karen McCall's class. Looking back, I'm immensely grateful for taking that leap, as are my clients.
